Don Bosco Network-BOSCONET in collaboration with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) is providing skill training to 100 underprivileged youth in Mirpara in three courses, namely Refrigeration and Air Conditioning mechanics; Electric House Wiring and Motor Winding, and Tailoring. The 6-month training imparts theoretical and practical training to the youth and equips them with skills for employment in the present job market.

The project also lays emphasis on providing placements for the trained youth. To this effect, a Job Placement Executive is contacting companies, building partnerships with employers and facilitating the employment of the youth after completion of the course. The youth, especially women are being empowered socially through livelihood creation.
