The Women’s Cell of the Don Bosco College celebrated International Women’s Day in the most enlightening way thinkable by inviting ex-Boscoites women achievers to a felicitation ceremony held within the premises of the college.
To commemorate the delightful occasion young entrepreneurs Manasi Govenkar and Komal Khaparde, writer Annalie Gracias and sportsperson Sheral D’Mello, were present. The occasion commenced on a traditional note with the lighting of the lamp by all the dignitaries present, followed by a warm introduction to the gathering by the principal and manager of the Don Bosco College.
While the principal acknowledged the success of the invited achievers and congratulated them for being beacons of inspiration, motivation and encouragement for many youngsters, the Manager, Fr. Joaquim Lobo commented on all the dedication, hard-work and passion that they put into their daily jobs which make them excel at what they do. Stressing on the importance of values, he urged the audience to inculcate good virtues which will help them to be successful in whatever they do.
