Bosconet, the network of 11 Don Bosco Planning and Development Offices (PDOs) across India, continues to play a crucial role in enhancing the capacity of its partner organizations in various skill domains. Among its core responsibilities is the commitment to empower constituent partners through continuous skill development.
The commencement of the Write For Good 2023 Workshop, a transformative four-day event began on5th March 2024, aimed at honing participants' skills in development project proposal writing. Hosted at Don Bosco Salesian Provincial House, Odxel in Goa, this workshop has attracted 16 dedicated Salesians and province staff from across the INP province, with the support of Don Bosco Mission Bonn and Misiones Salesianas, Madrid. Mr. Louis Manohar was the resource person.
The first day began with the registration of participants, Inaugural speech by Fr. Francis Silveira, Economer of Don Bosco Salesian Province, He welcomed all the participants. Fr. Santhanam, Director, Bosconet, Delhi came online and gave an introduction about the training workshop, the expectations from the participants, etc.
This program was a practical, hands-on workshop focused on the technicalities of writing effective proposals for community development projects. Its primary aim was to equip the Salesians and collaborators with the essential skills necessary for creating impactful community development project proposals, thereby enabling positive transformations in the communities.
The 4-day training workshop was concluded on 08.03.2024 with the distribution of course completion certificates and a conclusion speech by Fr. Clive Telles sdb. The participants also thanked Don Bosco INP and Bosconet for enabling this opportunity to learn proposal writing.
The successful completion of the workshop in the Goa region underscores BOSCONET's commitment to empowering its partners with essential skills for impactful community development.
