In order to enhance the skills in effectively planning and leveraging resources for community development, Bosconet - Don Bosco Network held a capacity-building workshop on "Strategic Planning and Local Resource Mobilization" on September 13-14, 2024, at BIRDY, Hyderabad and on September 19-20, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Rural Resource & Training Centre, Umran, Meghalaya. The workshop provided participants with practical tools and strategies to assess community needs, create actionable plans, and mobilize local resources.

The workshop was facilitated by expert resource persons, Mr. Ananth Arumugam, Founder, and Mr. Anto Francis Bharat, Trainer, from Fundraising Made Easy, Bangalore.

The two-day event featured sessions on the Indian fundraising landscape, SWOT analysis, donor retention strategies, and leveraging social media for fundraising. Participants also engaged in group exercises and mock presentations, allowing for hands-on experience in developing effective fundraising strategies.

The workshop concluded successfully, leaving participants equipped with actionable insights and strategies to effectively mobilize local resources for community development.
